スタンプラリー時に訪れた宿で、正直、
「え！？ こんなところにこんなに立派な宿があったの！！？」と驚いたランキング暫定1位。
温泉も素晴らしく、露天風呂・内湯共に高評価。
加水があるのはやや残念ではあるが、美しく変化する泉質は何度も訪れたくなる魅力に溢れる。
ナトリウムや炭酸水素塩は少ないが、硫黄は濃いので硫黄泉として楽しむことが出来るのが魅力。とはいえ、そこまでガッツリと硫黄硫黄はしていないので、安心して欲しい。
というのも、硫黄泉には「硫化水素型」と「硫黄型」に分かれる。
硫化水素型は鳴子ホテルなどの「卵の腐ったにおい」とも称される匂いが特徴で、湯も白濁することが多い。主成分は「遊離硫化水素」というガス成分となる。
対して、「硫黄型」は硫化水素臭は殆どなく、エメラルドグリーンや緑っぽい泉質が特徴になることが多い。結構珍しい泉質だが、硫黄泉のイメージとは離れるので知らない人だと「硫黄少なくね？」と感じるかもしれない。
で、仙庄館は後者。硫黄型と呼ばれるもの。
泉色もエメラルドグリーンとまではいかないものの、緑色で美しい。
もっと、温泉通による宣伝をしっかりすれば、
これほど泉質豊かな温泉は全国どころか、世界でも類を見ないというのに。
大崎市というか、宮城県の観光課は給与泥棒と石を投げられても文句言えないですね。
