イチオシ新安比温泉 静流閣
実家が青森なので、帰省途中に立ち寄り。
元から気になっていた施設で、メンバーからも「こりゃスゴイ」と言われていた施設ですが、ようやく訪れることが出来ました。
なお、私自身は自他共に認める超雨男なので、当然のように大雨でした。雨乞祈祷師にでも転職した方がいいのかしら？ ポケモンだと特性「あめふらし」は希少で重宝されるんですが。残念ながら現実では活かしきれませんな。
場所が場所だけに、正直、もう少し年季が入ったホテルかと思っていたのですが、内装はかなり綺麗。ご立派なホテルでした。
フロントで受付後、やや歩いて浴室へ。
受付時刻直後なので、貸切でした。ここは地元の人にも人気があるとのことで、30分もすれば平日なのに結構な賑わいに。比較的辺鄙な地にポツンとありますが、逆にその周辺に住んでいる人にはここしか選択肢がない訳で。まぁ、そう考えれば混雑も納得ですね。
浴室は濃すぎる成分のせいで、固まった成分がまるで地層のように幾層にもなっています。
いやー、ここまで成分が層になっているのは凄まじいです。
溶存物質30,000は伊達じゃないですな。
地域の人によると、これでも昔と比べて成分は薄くなったそうで、黄金色と言われる湯色は以前は透明度が全くなく、成分は沈殿して掬えるほどだったそうです。現在でもハイパワーな温泉なのに……これ以上とか当時を味わってみたかったですねぇ。とはいえ、かなり高齢の方だったので昔がどれほど昔かは分かりませんが。もしかして、私なんか生まれる以前の話かもしれませんね。
メタホウ酸は脅威の5400㎎オーバー。
この値は間違いなく日本一じゃないかな、と思います。メタホウ酸は消毒効果や切り傷などに効果があるといわれる泉質で、秋保温泉(ホテル瑞鳳など)も豊富に含まれていますが、ここは文字通り桁が違います。ポーションとエリクサーくらい違います。
さて、ここまで桁が違うとむしろ毒なんじゃないか？ と感じる方もいるかもしれませんが、実のところ間違ってはいません。
というのも、メタホウ酸＝ホウ素はそのまま排出すると環境に悪影響を及ぼすとされ、近年、水質汚濁防止法の規制対象の成分となっております。
現状、暫定規制となっておりますが、将来的にはホウ素を指定量まで希薄してからじゃないと排水出来ないようになるといわれております。当然ながら、その装置は数百万～数千万ほど導入費が必要とされ、温泉施設からは反発されています。
今まで健康にいい！ 消毒効果がある！ と言われていた成分が、急に環境に悪い！ と言われれば「環境に悪いなら、人体にも悪いのでは？」と思うのも当然ですよね。
ホウ素は皮膚から吸収されにくいですが、傷口からはかなりの量が吸収されるとされており、そのことから「切り傷に良い」ともされるわけですね。
で、ホウ素は長期間接種し続けると健康被害が発生するとされます。この温泉は濃いのでそこは注意したいところです。
話を戻して、水質汚濁防止法の規制について。
「そもそも、ホウ素を足した訳ではなく、地中から湧き出る自然成分を、そのまま排水して環境に悪影響があるというのはおかしい。」という意見があります。
ぐぅの音も出ない正論だと思います。
自然に温泉が湧きだしている場所がありますが、その温泉にホウ素が含まれていたら、それはどうするの？ ということですね。それで森や山が死んだ、というハナシは聞いたこともないですし。むしろ、それで自然が死んだとしても、それも自然サイクルの一環なわけですよ。
それを勝手に「害」として希釈という、非自然的に手を入れるのは環境に本当にいいのだろうか、と思わずにはいられません。
とはいえ、私自身は環境や成分の専門家ではありませんので、適当に思ったことを書き綴っています。別に規制を否定する訳ではありませんが、規制によってこのような貴重な温泉施設が立ち行かなくなるのだけは、ご勘弁願いたいものです。
特に日本は一度規制が掛かると、解除になることはないですからね。
